Rapid City Medical Center (408 Bed) Flagship Facility for Regional Health
is the premier healthcare provider in the area.
It is comprised of multiple campuses/buildings throughout SW South Dakota.

Some of the problems CS&G provided solutions for included:

 

Main Campus:
- Unified large medical office complex with flagship facility located across the street
- Multiple “ground level” entry points added confusion to visitors
- Color coded zones/areas helped add color and functionality to directional program
- Unified terminology around the concept of “Progressive disclosure” giving directions from home to a specific facility, entrance and to the destinations by a specified designated elevator
(not all elevators can access many areas)
- Provided staff and public education programs to assist those unfamiliar with Regional Health
- Generated on line and visitor guide artwork of floorplans
- Integrated website maps/directions with touch screen digital kiosks, digital signage and
traditional interior and exterior signs for a comprehensive program
- Updated an outdated donor recognition exhibit with upscale graphics, a history of the facility and digital donor listings

- Unified Brand and other visual elements throughout the large service area
- Increased viability to smaller facilities
